Norfolk, VA | Local + Regional Intermodal Freight Gross Earnings: Approximately $600–$1,000/day | $3,000–$5,000/week | Up to $260K+ Annual Earning Potential
HUDD Transportation is looking for experienced CDL-A Owner Operators for steady intermodal freight serving our Norfolk operation. Run a mix of local and regional freight with consistent volume, pre-dispatched loads, and opportunities throughout Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland.
What You Can Expect
- Approximately 12–15 moves per week
- Mix of local and higher-mileage regional freight
- Pre-dispatched daily
- Local and regional opportunities available
- Earnings vary based on lane mix, volume, and availability
- Strong focus on regional drivers able to operate across multiple states
The Work : You’ll handle intermodal container freight throughout the Mid-Atlantic, including:
- Norfolk
- Williamsburg
- New Bern, NC
- Grifton, NC
- Brown Summit, NC
- Greensboro, NC
- Hagerstown, MD
Local drivers may complete multiple moves per day, while longer regional lanes are typically structured around distance and available hours

What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A CDL
- Owner Operator with your own reliable tractor
- Reliable equipment
- Intermodal / port experience preferred
- Apportioned plates required for regional work
- Ability to operate across multiple states
- Comfortable running both local and regional freight
- Reliable operators looking for consistent weekly volume
