Job Description

JBS Carriers is a leading multi-state and regional truckload carrier specializing in refrigerated and non-refrigerated freight, including live haul (cattle, hogs and poultry), tankers, container chassis and grain hoppers. No Hog Hauling Experience? No Problem - We Will Train You!

BRAND NEW TRUCKS AND TRAILERS!




Driver Pay Rates:

  • Earn $1,800 - $2,200 per week
  • Minimum weekly pay of $1,800
  • Paid wait time of $0.24 per minute/$14.40 per hour
  • $5,000 retention bonus
  • Eligible of a $200 monthly bonus for a DOA rate of .30% of less
  • Holiday pay
  • $200 Monthly safety bonus
  • Orientation Pay: $600 (upon completion of orientation)
  • Additional $50 for scheduled Saturdays worked
  • Brand new trucks and trailers


Work & Route:

  • Pickups and Deliveries: Barns
  • Start Times: Very early morning start times (2am to 6am), end of day will vary between 3pm or later.
  • More than Driving: the job requires coordinating load info with the plants, dispatch, and feed lots; drivers must also ensure the safe, humane handling of livestock.
  • Weekly Home Time


Benefits & Bonuses:

  • $5,000 Retention Bonus

  • Simplified Orientation: Starts online and concludes at your local terminal

Up to a $3,100 bonus per driver referral:

  • $50 every week of your referred driver's first year
  • $500 bonus when your referred driver hits 3-months


CDL-A Live Haul Truck Driver Requirements:

  • At least 21 years old
  • We will train you for hog hauling - no experience necessary!
  • CDL-A with 1 year tractor trailer experience
  • Must have 48’-53' tractor trailer experience
